Madison and Evan wanted Chicago Riverwalk Engagement photos- with some perfect skyline photos mixed in! We picked to hit up the Riverwalk and the Wrigley Building, and then head to North Avenue Beach for some iconic skyline shots.

Chicago Riverwalk Engagement

The Chicago Riverwalk is one of my favorite spots to take engagement photos in the city. The light is always perfect- I kid you not. The way the sun reflects off all the glass paned buildings surrounding the river makes for perfect light no matter the time of day, or time of year. So I’m always thrilled when a couple wants to shoot there! We jumped right into photos in front of the Wrigley Building, because the space was open. And Madison and Evan absolutely killed it. Then we wandered along the river for a few minutes before heading east to hit up North Avenue Beach.

North Avenue Beach Photos

Next, we made our way to North Avenue Beach. I love doing photos at this location. It is huge- and provides multiple views of the gorgeous Chicago skyline. It’s usually packed with other photographers doing the same thing, but there’s plenty of room and plenty of options for photos. The beach, the lake, and the walkways make for the perfect romantic setting, and a great complement to the Chicago Riverwalk Engagement photos. I love making sure couples have two distinct looks for their engagement photos.
