Taylor and Jason were married exactly a year ago today. I am finally getting around to blogging about their beautiful day! Their Cafe Brauer Chicago Wedding was held on a crisp and lovely October day. The day started with getting ready at Taylor’s childhood home. Then we headed over to Cafe Brauer for the main events!
Cafe Brauer Chicago Wedding
Cafe Brauer is a stunning venue just on the border of the famous Chicago Lincoln Park Zoo. It’s right off of South Pond and provides for the most epic background for photos, and for an absolutely stunning reception spot. Originally constructed as a restaurant, and then turned into a ballroom, it’s full of a rich history and stunning architecture which Chicago excels in.
The Wedding
Taylor and Jason chose to have a daytime wedding, so there was plenty of beautiful light pouring through the windows for the entire event. They held their ceremony right in the gigantic ballroom, and then we took pictures just outside in Lincoln Park. We made sure to hit up some iconic spots- like the Lincoln Park honeycomb structure!
There were so many individual touches to this day. See if you can spot them all! It was a very special day to be part of, and a huge shoutout to An Event Less Ordinary. They were a wonderful planning team to partner with. They made sure everything went off without a single flaw, and kept all the guests happy.
I’m so excited to finally share this wedding.
