Well hello there and happy November! Today I have a Chicago Union Station engagement session for you to enjoy! With seriously the prettiest couple of all time- Megan & James.
Chicago Union Station Engagement
Megan and James wanted a very classic look for their Chicago engagement photos. We decided to make that happen with a series of locations, starting with Chicago Union Station. It’s an iconic spot in the City, filled with stunning architecture and beautiful stairways. And the outside of it is nearly as spectacular as the interior.
It was a very cold day, but that didn’t stop us from grabbing a bunch of exterior shots before sneaking inside to warm up a bit!
Civic Opera House
Pictures of couples running through the streets of Chicago are always favs of mine, so that’s what we did. It was bitterly cold, but that inspired us to move a lot, and I think images with movement in them are the most magical for capturing feelings well. The shots taken on the bridge are some of my all-time favorites!
Fullerton Beach
Megan and James really wanted to capture the Chicago skyline in their photos, so we hopped over to Theater on the Lake and Fullerton Beach to grab some. We also did an outfit change that included jackets, thank goodness. Cause fam, it was MISERABLY cold. The final portion of our Chicago Union Station engagement session took a total of 10 minutes, because we literally could not have handled more time. But I love that the wind and chill played a character… and Megan and James rocked it.
Despite the freezing temps and windchill, this was one of my very favorite sessions of the year! Love you two! Enjoy re-living this magical day!
And off to the Chicago Lakeshore we went!
