Lindsey and Collin are getting married this coming summer, but wanted to do a Cantigny Park Engagement session roughly one year in advance of their upcoming nuptials.
Cantigny Park Engagement
Cantigny Park is located in Wheaton, Illinois and is one of my favorite places to do sessions in Chicagoland. The grounds are expansive- and getting a permit for the site is just $50. And very easy to do on their website. The park is huge and full of so many options for photos. (I’ve also shot a wedding at Cantigny Park and it was a dream!) We started out with some very nature-filled photos, because that’s the look Lindsey and Collin really wanted to lean into.
Outfit Changes
I ALWAYS encourage doing an outfit change during and engagement session- and these two pulled it off perfectly. We talked ahead of time about how to best complement and pop in the July greenery. For summer Cantigny Park Engagements, I always suggest wearing whites, blues, or soft pinks, so that you pop out from the overwhelming greenery of summer time in the Chicago suburbs. Seriously. Lindsey’s looks are engagement session GOALS, so pay attention. 🙂
