Oh I am so excited to show you this La Grange Illinois Engagement session from this past summer. I’m a bit behind on blogging, as usual, but getting back to it as busy season ends. Taylor & Mark are getting married in just over 6 months, so it is definitely time to get their engagement shoot on the blog!
La Grange Illinois Engagement
We started out this La Grange Illinois Engagement session in the Bemis Woods South. The couple wanted an outdoor, nature-filled theme for the start of their shoot. And oh man did this location give us that- and then some. We had a trickling creek, beautiful light-filled woods, and a sunny open field with a friendly deer grazing and hanging out.

Next, we headed to the La Grange train station and to one of their favorite local spots, just off the tracks. They ordered some martinis and I got to take a peek into a normal night for them- having food and drinks at their local restaurant, Lucca’s. It was such a fun and informal way to end the night, and get to know Taylor and Mark a little more. Love you two! So excited for your Michigan wedding this June!
Seriously- I will ALWAYS explore a hometown for an engagement shoot. Such a perfect way to get to know a couple.
