This Olive Park engagement session was so much fun. We started at The Wrigley Building and Chicago Riverwalk for part one of the engagement photos, and then headed to Milton Lee Olive Park for part two!
Kelsey and Dillon found me on through instagram and we planned out the Downtown Chicago engagement session of their dreams (including their Dog, Stella).
First Location: Wrigley Building and Chicago Riverwalk Engagement
We started out by meeting up at one of my favorite spots for photos in Chicago- the Wrigley Building. The architecture in this specific location, with the river winding in the background, really shows the beauty of Chicago off, and pretty much always has perfect lighting.
Second Location: Olive Park Engagement
For a change of scenery, and outfit, we next shot over to Milton Lee Olive Park. Kelsey’s sister met us there, and brought Stella to join in some of the fun. I always suggest doing a mid-session outfit change, and obviously always bring a dog. The photos of Stella speak for themselves. And yes, I know. Kelsey and Dillon were the true stars- but Stella was the finishing touch! The best part of an Olive Park Engagement in July? The location of the sun at sunset! It lines up perfectly behind the viewing platform at that time of year. Definitely something to consider when picking your Chicago engagement location!
Anyway, enjoy this session! It was seriously one of my favorites from this past summer. I love this couple- Dillon threw in an awful lot of goofing around and it allowed Kelsey and Dillon to feel at ease and made for absolute perfection. And Stella didn’t hurt.
